Commitment to the Environment

With the Centre’s on-going commitment towards minimizing our environmental footprint on the planet, we’ve recently introduced solar assisted hot water heating in the Main Lodge. Two new solar panels have been installed on the roof which will assist in the heating of our hot water. In the summer time, we believe the panels will provide enough hot water to supply all of the guest rooms, lodge area, and kitchen with all the hot water they require. In conjunction with this initiative we have further reduced our carbon foot print, but replacing our propane hot water tanks with high efficiency electric hot water tanks.
